Dr. Loubna Abdel Hadi received her B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Faculty of Sciences, Lebanese University (2004), a M.Sc. degree in Organic chemistry from the department of Chemistry in the University of Milan (2007) and a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from the department of Medical Biotechnology and Translational Medicine, in the University of Milan (2014). Dr. Loubna Abdel Hadi is an assistant professor at the department of biotechnology and translational medicine, in Milan University and adjunct professor at the faculty of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi University. She is a Team Member in the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB), Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry, FEBS and American Association for the Advancement of Science. She was responsible of the ‘Functional Biochemistry’ and ‘Cell Culture’ laboratories, LITA Segrate, University of Milan. Dr. Loubna Abdel Hadi received two dissertation fellowships, for Ph.D. and Post-doctoral programs, from the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, Italy and two research awards from the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Dr. Loubna Abdel Hadi research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and her scientific activity is documented by more than 24 publications nationwide and beyond and more than 50 communications at international scientific meetings. She has presented as keynote speaker and speaker at more than 5 world congresses in the areas of her expertise.
Dr. Loubna Abdel Hadi is currently a senior research scientist and biochemist in Abu Dhabi Stem Cells center (ADSCC) and a secretary of the scientific committee. Her primary research interests are 1) setting up synergies between clinical research and molecular and cellular biology research in order to develop innovative strategies in both differential diagnosis and clinical management of patients 2) Functional characterization of stem cells and immune cells in preclinical ADSCC products 3) setting up the CAR-T cells manufacturing as clinical therapy. In addition, Dr. Loubna Abdel Hadi is developing an educational and research program focusing on Stem Cell biology and application with Emirati universities.
