Dr. Areej Hasan is an experienced Ophthalmology Specialist with a distinguished educational background and extensive hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and General Surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology and is Board Certified in Ophthalmology by the Jordanian Board. Additionally, she has achieved the prestigious Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO).

She began her career with a residency in Ophthalmology at Royal Medical Services, Jordan, where she developed expertise in routine eye examinations, post-operative care, and surgical procedures. She is well-versed in diagnosing a variety of ocular conditions, performing comprehensive visual system examinations, and recommending appropriate treatment plans. Her residency also involved performing surgeries and working closely with senior ophthalmologists, gaining valuable feedback and enhancing her skills.

In addition to her residency, Dr. Areej participated in international observerships, including in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Methodist Hospital, Houston, USA. This experience expanded her expertise in neurological eye disorders, adding an important dimension to her practice.

She has worked as an Ophthalmology Specialist at several prestigious medical centers in both Abu Dhabi and Jordan, including Healthline One Day Care Surgery Center and Al Haithami Specialized Medical Center in Abu Dhabi. She is deeply committed to delivering exceptional patient care, always aiming to educate her patients on the importance of preventive eye care and overall eye health.
