Dr. Tamara Menendez is a highly motivated and dedicated molecular biology scientist with more than 25 years of experience in the field of biomedical research. Dr. Menendez holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Molecular Biology and Immunology, and she has actively contributed to collaborative research projects, including those involving esteemed institutions both in Cuba and abroad.
With a solid scientific background and excellent analytical and laboratory skills, Dr. Menendez specializes in various research areas and techniques, including molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, and statistical analysis of biological data. She excels in designing and executing experimental strategies to generate interpretable data for hypothesis testing, addressing scientific questions, and project development. She has conducted research in areas such as vaccines against bacterial pathogens, biomaterials and protease inhibitors. Dr. Menendez’s work also involves in vivo animal models and in vitro cell culture techniques.
