Dr. Liping Sun is a physician-scientist with a Doctorate in Medical Science from Kyoto University, specializing in iPS cell technology, molecular pathogenesis, and stem cell-induced differentiation. Her research has made significant strides in understanding rare diseases such as Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), with work published in Life Science Alliance and Scientific Reports. She previously trained and practiced clinically in China, including in obstetrics and gynecology, and holds a Master’s in the same field from Shandong University. Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Japanese, Dr. Sun is committed to translational research that bridges scientific discovery with real-world therapeutic impact.
