Dr. Alzahraa Abouelnadar is a general radiologist with a special interest in MSK and women's imaging.  She possesses comprehensive expertise in diagnostic imaging techniques with a focus on issues related to women's health. She is a specialist radiologist trained to interpret various medical imaging modalities, such as mammography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computed tomography (CT) scans, as they pertain to conditions affecting women and sports injuries.
She conducts and interprets breast imaging studies for the early detection of breast cancer, assessing gynecological conditions through pelvic imaging, and evaluating other women-specific health concerns using advanced imaging technologies. Additionally, she collaborates closely with other healthcare professionals, such as gynecologists and Orthopedic surgeons, to provide accurate diagnoses and contribute to the development of appropriate treatment plans.
She stays abreast of advancements in both general and women's imaging to ensure the delivery of high-quality and up-to-date medical care. The combination of general radiology skills and specialized knowledge in women's imaging and MSK imaging allows her to play a crucial role in promoting early detection, diagnosis, and management of various women's health conditions and in the management of sports injuries.
She is a graduate of the faculty of medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. She has licenses from DOH Abu Dhabi, DHA Dubai, and DOH Egypt. She had a distinguished career at renowned institutions like Main Alexandria University Hospital. Her passion is to combine clinical excellence with educational innovation, and she is actively involved in teaching sonographer and radiographers.
