Dr. David Dennison is an accomplished hematologist with a career spanning over 35 years. He was a graduate of the Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India and did his fellowship training in bone marrow transplantation in the USA. He has made significant contributions in the fields of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT). Dr. Dennison was Senior Consultant in the Department of Hematology at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH), Oman, where he was also the Director of BMT and Head of the Department of Hematology. He has also served as Consultant Hematologist at the Apollo Hospital in Muscat. He was instrumental in developing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in Oman and setting up innovative programs like t-cell depleted transplants and reduced toxicity conditioning regimens for sickle cell disease and primary immunodeficiency. He also participated significantly in research and post graduate hematology training in Oman.
